Gandhi

I just finished watching the movie "Gandhi". What an amazing movie! It got 8 Oscars in 1983 including the best picture and best actor for Ben Kingsley. This movie really touched me, especially in this time of so-called "clash of civilizations"-theory-wanna-prove-ism. The last scene of the movie was a quote from Gandhi:

When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it ... ALWAYS.

TED continued!

It's so amazing!! No, I'm not just talking about this 11-year old playing violin. What is amazing is that in the original post, I introduced the TED site and told everyone to take a look at Jeff Han's presentation. Then I published the post and took a look at the site. To my surprise, Farhad had written a post on the exact same subject this morning!
